For this collection, we’ve handpicked Certified Organic wool and yarn to embody a commitment to rigorous standards that prioritises social and environmental practices throughout their lifecycle. Sourced from organic farms with high animal welfare standards, the production process avoids harmful chemicals and emphasizes both social and environmental aspects.

Each fibre is carefully sourced, resulting in luxurious materials that are as delightful to the touch as they are visually stunning.

FROM YARN TO KNITWEAR

The yarn used for our MY Heritage Knit collection is made into knitwear at a manufacturer based in Ízmír, Turkey that became a new partner for MY ESSENTIAL WARDROBE in the beginning of 2024. This manufacturer is exclusively producing our high-quality knitwear from the MY Heritage Knit collection. All knitwear in the collection is machine-knitted and stitched together by hand to care for the finishes of the final garment. The finished knitwear undergoes careful quality checks to ensure it meets the company’s high standards.

FROM WOOL TO YARN

For the MY Heritage Knit collection, we exclusively use high-quality yarn sourced from our long-established Istanbul-based supplier, a company with 50 years of experience in yarn manufacturing. They are experts within a variety of materials, including lambswool that we use in our knitwear as well as cashmere, mohair, alpaca, cotton, silk, viscose, and nylon-blended yarns.

In every MY collection, we focus on creating long-lasting, premium-quality pieces. We only work with a few carefully selected partners to increase our ability to monitor and cooperate closely with our suppliers.

The MY Heritage Knit collection is designed and produced in collaboration with our partners located in Argentine and Turkey, who have extensive experience in sourcing and producing knitwear.

Each piece from the MY Heritage Knit collection goes through multiple stages before it’s ready to be worn by you.
